Colorado Historic Trains

Travel Dates: August 16-24, 2024

Featuring six scenic rail excursions and three national parks. We fly from Minneapolis to Denver where our tour manager will meet us and oversee our trip for the next 8 days. Our tour takes us through Rocky Mountain National Park, Leadville, Dillon, Durango, and Colorado Springs. We are on the move, staying at 6 different hotels including 2 nights at the beautiful Sky Ute Casino Resort in Ignacio.

The highlight of the trip is the trains: 6 scenic rail excursions following historic routes of the Old West: Leadville Colorado & Southern Railroad, Durango Narrow Gauge, Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad, Royal Gorge Route Railroad, Cripple Creek and Victor Gauge Narrow Gauge Railroad and of course, the famous Pikes Peak Cog Railway.
